Our Story
Costs Cutters was formed by Seton During (MIMarEST, MIPlantEng) a chartered engineer, marine engineer, Ex-Ocean-Going ships' Chief Engineer, a UK Assessor of Mature Candidates for Chartered Status of The Institution of Plant Engineers and facility manager in London. For many years, Seton worked as a preventative engineer for a number of local authorities, governmental organisations and private tenants.
It was in this role that Seton found that in many cases, work wasn't completed to the right standard, if it was even completed at all. So, Seton created Costs Cutters to provide building and land owners with a facilities and management team they can rely on.
Our goal at Costs Cutters is to deliver the highest level of facilities and estate maintenance. We aim to provide mechanical, electrical and building services to all clients and end-users in the private, public, voluntary and domestic sectors. Most importantly, we provide this at less costs through optimisations within statutory, mandatory and contractual constraints.
We are available for the immediate management of the client or contractor functions of terminated/frustrated contracts. We can also complete surveys to identify errors of omission and commission as well as proffering optimisations.
We can achieve this by taking responsibility or superintending your client functions within your contractual and non-contractual relationships, thus ensuring optimised statutory and mandatory compliance. We will introduce and adopt the best tested and proven practises whilst working within your constraints.
